In situations where the structural aspects of the facility are in good condition (concrete slab in good order / metal framework solid), an upgrade or refurbishment will provide players with a safer and more comfortable training facility.

Net upgrades can be a lower cost exercise when compared to a full rebuild.

Note: Not all existing structures are suitable for an upgrade. In some cases, especially where user safety will be an issue, it is better to demolish the old structure and build from new.
