PROBLEM

 

• Synthetic grass in poor condition

• Bare concrete damaging to cricket balls

• Holes in chain mesh

• Balls frequently hit out of practice area being a danger to those using athletic track

WORKS CARRIED OUT

• Old synthetic grass removed

• Concrete surface scraped and cleaned

• Supply and installation of 'heavy duty' synthetic grass (wider and longer)

• Extended height and length of existing nets to create longer roof net area

• Roof framework covered with soft netting to prevent balls leaving enclosure

• Holes in chain mesh retied to main frame where possible

• Supply and installation of access gate
